I have used this antibody diluted 1:1000 for WB of mouse liver membrane preparations (40 µg total protein loaded on gel). Numerous bands were seen (see full Western blot above).
The highest band is of expected size just above marker band size 98 kDa. The band is down-regulated in animals injected with PCSK9, however, it is not the most prominent of the detected bands.
Re-incubation of the upper part of the WB increased the LDLR band intensity (shown above).

This antibody gave an intense IF staining in both HepG2 cells transfected with PCSK9 and untransfected HepG2 cells. The staining was more vesicular in transfected cells.
