  • Rabbit polyclonal anti-Perlecan. A 2310bp cDNA coding for Domain V of the Perlecan protein was codon optimised for its expression in mammalian cells and ligated into an episomal expression vector. The vector was transfected into human 293-EBNA cells and serum- free medium was collected for protein purification. Antibodies were obtained after Ni-affinity purification followed by size-exclusion chromatography. Immunisation of rabbits and affinity-purification of antibodies followed standard protocols. The affinity-purified antibody was used at a concentration of 1:2000.
