We were unable to visualize intraepidermal nerve fibers from human skin biopsies using the antibody, despite trying different staining methods, section thickness and staining procedures. We, therefore, stopped using this antibody. The tissue was frozen and cut to 50 micrometer thick sections. The staining was performed free floating.
