This antibody gave a low signal when used in combination with fluorescent conjugated secondary antibodies in IHC of spinal cord cryo sections. This made it very difficult to identify somatostatin positive cells.

Staining of tissue using either DAB or fluorescence showed high specificity and very low background at 1:1000.
Staining hippocampal cells in culture showed high specificity with no almost no background.
I have not tested it for IP or WB.
