I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Zhang et al. Neoplasma 2021.
Zhang et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous human CEBPA by Western blotting of A2780 (ovarian cancer cell line) and OV-90 (epithelial-like cell from the ovarycells ) which were transduced with sg-CEBPA-1, sg-CEBPA-2 or sg-NC. Nonspecific staining or insufficient knockdown was observed in the A2780 cells for both sg-CEBPA-1and sg-CEBPA-2, and for OV-90 to a lesser degree but still some extent. (Figure 1b).
Based on the available data, we have assigned a four-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
