I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Shang et al. Nature Communications 2021.
Shang et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous human MTHFD2 by Western blotting of SW1990 (human pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell line) cells stably transduced with sgRNAs and the corresponding immunoblot probing for MTHFD2. The blot includes WT and multiple KO clones (KO-1, KO-2, KO-3) and demonstrates loss (or strong reduction) of the MTHFD2 band in KO clones. No band was observed in either of the clones (Figure 2e).
Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
