I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Gao. et al. frontiers in Oncology.
Gao. et al. validate this antibody for detection of mouse USP7 by Western blotting of B17 cells (murine melanoma cell line). No band was observed in USP7-KO. (figure 2a). This antibody validation is confirmed in figure 5F where IHC was performed on UPS7-KO in B16 xenograft models.
Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating for the western blot and a four-star ration because of strong staining in tissue arrays and KO xenografts (figure 5F), but interpretation relies on semi-quantitative analysis; not independently validated across multiple cohorts. We highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
