Rabbit anti AQP4 (249-323)(raised agaisnt peptide of rat origin)is excellent for detection of AQP4 in paraffin embedded whole mouse eye sections(perfusion fixed with 2 % PFA). We used a dilution of 1:1600 and visualized with Alexa donkey a rabbit fluorophore coupled (488) antibody. No background observed with 1 % milk blocking.

Anti-Aquaporin 4 (249-323) from Alomone labs.
This is a polyclonal rabbit anti-rat antibody (raised against aa residues 249-323 of rat AQP4).
In IHC of murine whole eye paraffin sections it gives nice staining in non-pigmented epithelial cells of the ciliary body (1:1600 concentration). However, no signal was seen by Western blotting of whole kidney homogenates (1:1000).
