The antibody appears to be very good and very specific for staining proBDNF in cultured mouse hippocampal neurons and in cryosections of mouse embryos.
We have also used it for detecting BDNF prodomain internalized by sortilin-expressing 293 cells. For reference, see Andersen et al. JBC 2010.
