p53, Santa Cruz Biotechnology, sc-126
What do reviewers generally think about sc-126 from Santa Cruz Biotechnology?
Researchers report that p53, Santa Cruz Biotechnology, sc-126 performs well in western blot, with good signal at a 1:4000 dilution in 1% milk in PBS-T, and literature validation supports its use in immunofluorescence, showing specific staining in wild-type but not knockout cells and a specific band absent in knockout controls. One reviewer points out that the antibody gave a good western blot signal at that dilution. No complaints are mentioned.

Review of: p53, Santa Cruz Biotechnology, sc-126 by pAbmAbs Data Mining
We generated a top 1000 list of the most studied and most published proteins and analyzed the literature validation data for the commercially available research antibody tools.
Mircetic et al., Nature Communications 2017 validates sc-126 for IF in Figure 2b in WT-2G and KO-2G cells, showing specific staining of WT cells, not present in KO cells.
The authors also demonstrate the detection of a specific band in WT cells, not present in KO cells (Figure 2c, uncropped blots in Supplementary Figure 9).
We have rated sc-126 based on the available information and according to the pAbmAbs criteria.
