Endicott et al., BMC Res Notes describe the validation of twenty-three commercial antibodies raised against Collagen VI. No signal was observed when staining skeletal muscle (1:40) while a strong signal was obtained by wb (1:500) under reduced conditions. See full description in the link to the article above.
