Antibody: PSD95 124 014 (Synaptic Systems) – Polyclonal Guinea antibody
DId not work very well for immunostaining mouse hippocampal neurons. PSD95 clusters was hard to distinguish from background signal.
Neurons were fixed for 20 min in 4% PFA and permeabilized using PBS + 0.1% Triton X-100. After blocking, the neurons were incubated with antibody in a 1:2000 and a 1:3000 dilution in blocking buffer.
This antibody was tested simultaneously with other antibodies for PSD95 (see below) and proved to be the second worst.
