Progranulin, R&D Systems, AF2420

I’ve been testing this antibody for Western blot, Immunostaining and IP in overexpressing HEK293 cells and it has been working good in every mentioned experiment. I use the concentration of 1 µg/mL for WB and Immunostaining and 1 µg per 60 µL of beads for IP. Most likely the concentration used can be lower and still produce good results.

I have used this goat-a-human progranulin antibody (R&D AF2420) at 1 µg/mL for Western Blot (secondary was a-Goat-HRP by DAKO) to detect hPGRN-Fc tagged overexpressed in cultured HEK293 cells. It showed a nice band at the height I expected for the fusion protein, not much background, works perfectly fine. I think I could have gone lower with the concentration.
