CCR5, Novus Biologicals, NB100-56337
What do reviewers generally think about NB100-56337 from Novus Biologicals?
Researchers report inconsistent western blot performance for this CCR5 antibody at 1:1000. One reviewer points out that no band at the expected CCR5 size was detected in Tzm-Bl, T cells, PBMC, or THP1 samples. Another saw a 41 kDa band with 1% skim milk, but also strong bands at 20, 25, 35, and 150 kDa; with 1% BSA, the expected 41 kDa band was absent, while bands at 20, 35, 52, and 150 kDa appeared. Overall, results suggest variable specificity and buffer dependence.

Tested for WB in a 1:1000 dilution on Tzm-Bl, T cells, PBMC and THP1 cells. I did not see any band for CCR5 at the right size using this antibody.

CCR5 (CD195) Antibody (NB100-56337SS) for western blot.
1:1000 dilution in TBS + 0,02 % Tween 20 + 1 % skim milk.
Band visible at 41 kDa. Additional strong bands at 20, 25, 35 and 150 kDa were seen.
1:1000 dilution in TBS + 0,02 % Tween 20 + 1 % BSA.
No expected band at 41 kDa, but bands at 20, 35, 52 and 150 kDa were seen.
