This Ab shows a specific band at the expected size of GAD2/GAD65 (65 kDa)

I have used this antibody to do western blot on mouse frozen tissue. I have incubated with this antibody (1ug/ml) at 4 °C over night, then with secondary antibody at room temperature for 1 hour. The antibody gives nice band.

This antibody was tested on lysate from adult mouse hippocampus and liver (picture). 50 ug protein was loaded in each lane. manufacturer suggests determining the optimal dilution by titration but recommends starting with 1ug/ml, so for this experiment i used a concentration of 1 ug/ml.
The antibody was left over night at 4°C in a blocking buffer. The secondary antibody was left on for 1 hour at room temperature.

This antibody is excellent for detecting GAD65 by western blotting! A clear band was observed in the hippocampus-sample while nothing was seen in the liver, as expected.
