Antibody works very nicely for ICC. We use rat primary neuronal cultures, PFA fixation and antibody incubation over night at 4°C. 1:500 dilution of recommended reconstitution.

Shank3 guinea pig polyclonal, antiserum (162 304) from Synaptic Systems
This antibody detects postsynaptic-density-like structures along the dendrites of mature primary hippocampal neurons (DIV14).
Neurons were fixed in 4% PFA, permabilized in 0,1 % Triton-X100 and blocked in 10 % FBS
Antibody dilution: 1:500 in 10 % FBS
