GFP, Abcam, ab13970
What do reviewers generally think about ab13970 from Abcam?
Researchers consistently report that GFP, Abcam, ab13970 performs well for immunofluorescence and immunostaining, including ICC on fly brains and labella and perfusion-fixed mouse brain or tissue sections. It is described as specific, robust, and usable at relatively dilute concentrations, with reported dilutions from 1:500 to 1:10,000. One reviewer points out that they have used this antibody for many years across almost eight different batches without complaints, noting consistent batch-to-batch performance. No major complaints are mentioned.

Immunostaining were done on 4% paraformaldehyde perfusion-fixed brains that were cut at 50µm on a vibratome.
Antibody specificity is good and results in robust labeling. Can use relatively dilute concentrations, depending on signal (e.g., 1:2,000 to 1:10,000)
