Phospho-p70 S6 Kinase, Cell Signaling Technology, 9234

I’ve been using this antibody for detecting p70S6k phosphorylation at Thr389 residue in mouse hippocampal and cortical lysates in Western blot with a good, strong signal. The band at the predicted molecular weight is clear, but a faint unspecific band is also seen right above the predicted molecular weight.

The antibody is diluted 1:1000 in 3% BSA in TBS-T + 1:1000 NaN3. Dilution has given a good signal for 5-10 uses when stored at 4 degrees.
Incubation overnight at 4 degrees
Washing steps with TBS-T
Secondary antibody diluted in 5% milk powder in TBS-T for 1 hour
Detection with ECL+
