tested on whole brain cell lysate from mouse, loaded 30 and 10 ug. WB by stainfree gel/membrane, semi-dry blotting, ECL detection.

Detects 2 bands of the approximate size, one more intense than the other.

Used dilution 1/5000

anti-GSK3B, mouse monoclonal, Novus biologicals # NBP1-47470

Tested for Western blotting on 100 ug total cell lysate from HEK cells, mouse brain and pig brain. used dilution: 1/2000 (recommended)

In mouse brain, 2 very intense bands of expected size (47 kDa) close to eachother are detected, in pig brain, a fainter band of the same size is detected.
In HEK cells, e very faint band of a few kDa smaller is detected. GSK3B is not expected to be expressed in kidney (http://www.genecards.org/cgi-bin/carddisp.pl?gene=GSK3B#protein_expression).
