HA, Sigma-Aldrich, H6908
What do reviewers generally think about H6908 from Sigma-Aldrich?
Researchers report that this rabbit anti-HA antibody performs well for western blotting at 1:1000, detecting HA-tagged proteins in HEK293 lysates and dirty Lotus japonicus root extracts with only faint nonspecific bands. One reviewer points out that a faint high molecular weight band appears as background staining. Another notes overnight 4°C incubation and plans to use it in ChIP-seq, though results are pending.

This rabbit anti-HA-tag antibody is perfect for western blotting (1:1000). Detected tagged proteins from HEK293 cell lysate. Only a faint high molecular band appears as background staining.

1:1000 dilution used, incubation over night at 4°C. Samples: ‘Dirty’ total protein extracts of plant roots (Lotus japonicus).
Worked well. Only a single (faint) unspecific band. I went on to use this antibody in a ChIP-seq experiment, but I haven’t got the results for that experiment yet.
