Clusterin, R&D Systems, BAF2747
What do reviewers generally think about BAF2747 from R&D Systems?
Researchers report the antibody performs well for Western blotting and immunofluorescence, with one reviewer recommending 1:1000 overnight with streptavidin-HRP secondary at 1:1000. One reviewer points out that it works great for Western at 1:2000 with 5% milk blocking and for adult mouse brain IF at 1:250 with 0.5% milk blocking, using formalin-fixed, sucrose-processed 50-micron sections. Specificity for IP, Western, and IF was confirmed with mouse Clu-/- control tissue. No complaints were mentioned.

Works great for Western at 1:2000 dilution (5% milk block) and for immunofluorescence of adult mouse brain tissue at 1:250 (0.5% milk block). Tissue was fixed with 10% formalin overnight, dropped through sucrose, and cut at 50 microns. For IP, Western, and immunofluorescence we have confirmed specificity with mouse Clu-/- control tissue.
