Albumin, Agilent Dako, A0001
What do reviewers generally think about A0001 from Agilent?
Researchers generally find the antibody sensitive and useful for detecting albumin in western blots, including mouse and porcine albumin, and in human and mouse kidney paraffin sections. One reviewer points out that it can be used at 1:5000 for fluorescence, incubated overnight at 4 degrees, and reused at least three times when stored at 4 degrees. However, another notes frequent background in immunofluorescence, sometimes staining entire cell nuclei.

Rabbit – anti- human albumin
Dako A0001
Works well on detection of mouse albumin on western.
Dilution 1:5000 (for detection via fluorescence), incubation over night at 4 degrees.
Can be used up to a minimum of 3 times when stored at 4 degrees.

Though sensitive, there’s often a lot of background, sometimes the entire nucleus of cells in immunfluorescence.
Works in both human and mouse kidney paraffin sections.
Also works well in WB against porcine albumin.
