I have immunoprecipitated IL6 (1 ug/ip – 50 ul GammaBind G Sepharose beads/ip) from HEK293 cells transfected with a hIL6. It works.

I have used IL6 antibody AF206NA in cells transfected with human IL6. It works great for detection of IL6. AF206NA from R&D is against human IL6.
WB: dilut 1:1000.
