Vimentin, merckmillipore, AB1620
What do reviewers generally think about AB1620 from Sigma-Aldrich?
The reviews indicate that the antibody performs well for immunofluorescence and Western blotting on RN22 cells. For immunofluorescence, it was used after 4% PFA fixation and 0.5% Triton X-100 permeabilization, with a best dilution of 1:40. For Western blotting, a 1:100 dilution produced a perfect Vimentin 57 kDa band. One reviewer points out that the immunofluorescence protocol used 5 min fixation and 7 min permeabilization at 4 C. No complaints are mentioned.
