SorCS2, Academia, Academia-0020
What do reviewers generally think about Academia-0020 from Academia?
Researchers generally find SorCS2, Academia-0020 useful for ELISA and immunoprecipitation, with mixed but positive results. It works well as an ELISA capture antibody at 10 µg/mL with low background for purified soluble SorCS2, especially with purified rabbit anti-SorCS2 F7100 detector, while it works only to some extent as a detector at 1 µg/mL. For IP, it gives okay to great results at 0.5–1 µg/IP in human SorCS2-expressing SY5Y and RN22 cells and murine SorCS2. One reviewer points out that it works okay in immunofluorescence for human SorCS2 in PFA-fixed HEK293 cells at 1 µg/mL.

Works to some extent as detector antibody in ELISA (1 µg/mL) detecting soluble purified SorCS2 in combination with rabbit anti-human SorCS2 extracellular domain (F7100) as capture antibody.

Works well as capture antibody (10 µg/mL) with low background in ELISA detecting purified soluble SorCS2. Especially if purified anti-SorCS2 F7100 from rabbit is used as detector antibody.

I used this antibody in a 1ug / IP and got great results in SY5Y cells stabily transfected with human SorCS2.

Used in RN22 cells transfected with human SorCS2 variants.
0,5 ug per IP. Gives a good IP about 10 %.

This mAb was generated in the laboratory of Professor Anders Nykjær.
Works ok in IF for detecting human SorCS2 expressed in HEK293 cells (PFA-fixed).
Dilution 1 ug/ml
