Calretinin, Swant, McAB 6B3
What do reviewers generally think about McAB 6B3 from Swant?
Researchers report limited success with Calretinin, Swant, McAB 6B3 in brain tissue and primary or cultured hippocampal neurons. The antibody showed some specificity, but performance was poor due to very high background and weak signal, leaving little distinction between signal and background across tested concentrations. One reviewer points out that at a 1:200 dilution it produced a very weak signal. Overall, the consensus is that it is not reliable for these neuronal applications.

This antibody was tested on brain tissue and primary hippocampal neurons at different concentrations. The antibody showed very little difference between signal and background due to the very high background.
Review of: Calretinin, Swant, McAB 6B3 by Simon Jensen
This antibody was tested on cultured primary neurons as well as tissue, both times with limited succes. Showed some specificity, but gave a very weak signal.
