Calbindin, Sigma-Aldrich, C9848
What do reviewers generally think about C9848 from Sigma-Aldrich?
Researchers report poor performance of Calbindin, Sigma-Aldrich, C9848 in immunofluorescence on adult mouse brain cryosections and primary neurons in culture or tissue, with weak signal and high background that made positive cells hard to identify. One reviewer points out that a 1:2000 dilution was used, while another tested 1:500, but both found limited success.

Review of: Calbindin, Sigma-Aldrich, C9848 by Simon Bøggild Hansen, Aarhus University
I have used this antibody for immunofluorescence on adult mouse brain cryosections.
There is a weak signal with high background staining.
Suggested Concentration 1:2000
Review of: Calbindin, Sigma-Aldrich, C9848 by Simon Jensen
This antibody was tested on primary neurons in culture as well as on tissue, both with very limited succes. In both cases, background staining made identification of positive cells difficult.
Dilution 1:500
