This antibody (1:1000) does not work for WB detection of endogenous LDLR in HepG2 cell lysate.

Anti-LDLR, ab60107, mouse.
Using this antibody (1:100) we saw an intense IF staining of endogenous LDLR in HepG2 cells. As control we used HepG2 cells with overexpression of PCSK9, and the antibody signal in these cells was, as expected, very weak.

This antibody does not work for IP of endogenous LDL receptor from HEK293 cells.
We did IPs from metabolically labelled cells (S35)and saw a lot of unspecific bands. The antibody even pulled down the related receptor SorLA.

This antibody works very well for IF staining of LDLR in HepG2 cells. Use 10 µg/ml.
