Sortilin, Abcam, ab16640

I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Hu et al. Frontiers in Neuroanatomy, 2017.
Hu et al. validate this antibody for detection of mice sortilin by Western blotting and immunolabeling of mouse brain lysate and tissue, respectively. This antibody targets the intracellular C-terminal in sortilin from +/+ and -/- brains. No band was observed in the -/- mouse brain WB, and no labeling was seen in the -/- (KO mice) immunolabeling (figure 1D-E).
Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating in both the Western blot and the immunolabeling because of strong and clean signal, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
