SorCS2, Academia, F7378
What do reviewers generally think about F7378 from Academia?
Researchers report that SorCS2, Academia, F7378 works for IP, Western blotting, and immunostaining of human or mouse SorCS2, including recombinant and endogenous targets, with suggested dilutions of 1:2000 for Western blotting and 1:1500 for immunostaining. One reviewer points out that the unpurified antibody produced a smear in IP, suggesting a purified batch may perform better. Overall, it is considered useful for IP and detection applications, though purity may affect IP cleanliness.

works OK for IP of murine sorcs2 in a 1 ul/IP solution

Works well for IP, however using the unpurified antibody gives quite a smear. this might be better with a purified batch.
I used it on hSorCS2 stable transfected SY5Y-cells in a 2ul/ml solution

The antibody is directed against the cytoplasmic tail of mouse SorCS2.
It works in Western blotting for detecting recombinant human SorCS2 expressed in cell lines and for detecting endogenous SorCS2 in mouse and human brain. Dilution 1:2000
It also works for IP and for immunostainings of human SorCS2 expressed in 293 cells. Dilution 1:1500
