This antibody works well for Western Blot working with S. cerevisiae.

We have been using 9E10 anti-myc for detection of myc-tagged proteins in ELISA and Western blot with no issues. Our 9E10 anti-myc antibody was produced in our core facility.

We use 0.5 ug/mL for both ELISA and WB.

This antibody works very well in immunostaining myc-tagged proteins in transfected HEK293 cells.

This is the standard antibody used for detecting the c-myc tag at my laboratory. It performs well in the following assays:

ELISA: used at 0.5 ug/mL in 2% BSA PBS, followed by detection with a GAM-HRP

Western blot: used at 0.5 ug/mL in 2% milk powder – PBS, then detected with GAM-HRP

FACS: used at 5 ug/mL in 1% FBS PBS, then detected with GAM-PE.

Very good band in western blot 1:1000 after 1h

I agree! Very good for IP and Western. Never tried it for IF, though.

Of note, it does not work as capturing antibody in ELISA (although it can be used for detection).

Really nice antibody when you are working with myc-tagged proteins.
