I have used this antibody for western blotting on lysates from mouse brain (dilution 1:1000) and IHC on cryosections of the striatum from PFA fixed mice (dilution 1:100). Works well for both.

Used this affinity-purified antibody with success in immunocytochemistry against exogenous mouse SorCS2 in HEK293 cells. Is specific with relatively low background. Used 1:100 dilution.

This antibody works reasonably well for me for detection of mouse SorCS2 in western blotting (1:1000) transfected into HEK293 cells. However, when detecting soluble SorCS2 in medium directly, an unspecific band corresponding to the size of soluble SorCS2 appears, though this could be me messing up the samples.

I used this antibody on cultured hippocampal neuron lysates from p2 mice for a western blot in a dilution of 1:1000. This antibody works great for detection of SorCS2, results were excellent.

This antibody is great for detection of SorCS2 in primary rat Schwann cell lysates. It also works very well for detection of SorCS2 in mouse sciatic nerve and dorsal root ganglia tissue homogenates.
Dilution 1:1000

I have tested this antibody on PFA fixed hippocampal neurons and on hippocampal cryo-sections from PFA-perfusion-fixed mice. This was compared to tissue and cells lacking SorCS2 expression. For both ICC and IHC, a dilution of 1:100 was used. This worked great! A clear signal was seen while no signal was observed in the negative control.

This was tested os hippocampal lysates from p20 mice. This worked very well for detecting sorcs2. Koncentration: 0,2 ug/ml.

I have used this antibody on mouse spinal cord cryo-sections at a concentration of 1:50 of 0.2 mg/mL. It showed highly unspecific staining and it was not possible to distinguish specific staining from unspecific staining.

I have tested SorCS2 sheep anti-mouse R&D Systems AF4237 on lysates from cultured hippocampal neurons. It Works very well for detecting endogenous SorCS2.
WB: 0.2 ug/ml

I have testet SorCS2 sheep anti-mouse R&D Systems AF4237 on primary rat Schwann cells for western blotting and IF on cells. It works excellent for western blotting with high specificity and sensitivity. For IF I did not have convincing success.

Another great antibody from R&D!
We use it for detecting and IP of endogenous SorCS2 in mouse tissues. Cells or sections from SorCS2 knockout mouse are blank confirming the specificity of the signal.
I have tested it in immunofluorescense on sections of sciatic nerve and of brain (and on knockout tissue as control). And also on cultures of peripheral glial cells and hippocampal neurons.
We have performed IP from hippocampal neurons.
Western blot on CNS and PNS tissue homogenates and in primary neuron cultures.
ICC: 2 ug/ml
WB: 0.2 ug/ml
