We have used this antibody for staining paraffin-embedded mouse kidney sections for sortilin, and observed beautiful sortilin staining correlating with the expression pattern reported by Tabula Muris. Sections from sortilin KO mice were blank confirming the specificity of the staining.

Excellent for staining pfa fixed primary hippocampal neurons.
Neurons from p0 pups were grown for 10 days in vitro before being fixed. Following fixation, the neurons were immunostained against sortilin (1:100). A clear and intense signal was observed with almost no background. Highly recommended!

This antibody works very well for WB, IP and ELISA. It also works for indirect IF staining to see endogenous Sortilin in primary macrophages and dendritic cells.

This antibody works very well for immunofluorescence staining in rat astrocytes and brain endothelial cells. Dilution 1:200. Fixation was done both with paraformaldehyde and methanol.

This antibody works fine to detect endogenous levels of sortilin in mouse dorsal root ganglia and sciatic nerve homogenates (50 ug total protein), but it is not very sensitive for detection of sortilin in primary rat Schwann cell lysates (100 ug total protein) . Dilution 1:1000.

The antibody was used for double immunofluorescence stainings on cryo-sections of mouse brain, and with a concentration of 0.22 ug/mL (1:9000) it is still possible to get a nice staining with low background.

This antibody is excellent for IHC on dorsal root ganglia in mice.
Dilution: 1:100

This antibody works very well for IHC of mouse spinal cord cryo-sections and dorsal root ganglia. I have also used it for ICC of primary dorsal root ganglia neurons. The immunofluorescence staining is vesicular and looks very specific. Dilution: 2 ug/mL.

This antibody is great for immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry on mouse cryosections and primary neurons, respectively. Dilution 2 ug/ml. See image above for sortilin (green) in a DIV12 hippocampal neuron.
It is also in our hands the best antibody for immunoprecipitation of endogenous mouse sortilin.
