I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Ashley et al. MDPI, 2019. Ashley et al. validated this antibody for the detection of endogenous human IRF3 by Western blotting using WT and IRF3-KO HFF-1 human foreskin fibroblasts. IRF3-KO clones were generated using CRISPR/Cas9. Eleven clones were screened for loss of IRF3 expression, and the majority of the KO clones showed only a faint residual band when probed with the sc-376455 antibody (Figure 3A) Based on the available data, we have assigned a four-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
