YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 9 commercial research antibodies against human Collagen triple helix repeat-containing protein 1 (CTHRC1)

The collection of antibodies was tested using A-375 WT and CTHRC1 KD cells in the applications WB (WT and KD cell lysates/30 µg protein) and IP (WT cell lysate) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:500 ab dilution) ab274447 did not detect a band. A band was detected following IP (2 µg Ab used), this band was markedly more intense compared to band in input extract (6% of starting material) and no band was detected in immunodepleted extract (6% of total unbound fraction), showing that the antibody does completely deplete the antigen from cell lysate.
