Review of: Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(q) subunit alpha, Novus Biologicals, NBP3-32395 by pAbmAbs Data Mining

Reviewed: October 19, 2026

Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(q) subunit alpha (GNAQ) and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.

YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 11 commercial research antibodies against human Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(q) subunit alpha (GNAQ)

The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and GNAQ KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein) and flow cytometry (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).

In WB (1:500 ab dilution) NBP3-32395 detected a band of appr. 42 kDa in WT cell lysate with a faint corresponding band observed in KO cell lysate. Furthermore, a faint band of higher molecular weight was observed in both genotypes. Flow cytometry using NBP3-32395 (1:1000 ab dilution) showed overlapping fluorescence intensity distributions for WT and KO cells, with minimal visible shift between the two populations.
