Review of: Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(q) subunit alpha, Cell Signalling Technology, 3992 by pAbmAbs Data Mining
Our team has carried out deep research in the published scientific literature to identify papers and reports using antibodies directed against human Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(q) subunit alpha (GNAQ) and followed up by extraction and evaluation of the available data to assess its performance according to pAbmAbs rating criteria.
YCharOS is here conducting a large head-to-head study comparing 11 commercial research antibodies against human Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(q) subunit alpha (GNAQ)
The collection of antibodies was tested using HAP1 WT and GNAQ KO cells in the applications WB (WT and KO cell lysates/30 µg protein) and flow cytometry (WT and KO cells) according to YCharOS standard protocols (see reference).
In WB (1:1000 ab dilution) 3992 did not detect a band specific to WT cell lysate. Flow cytometry using 3992 (1:180 ab dilution) showed overlapping fluorescence intensity distributions for WT and KO cells, with minimal visible shift between the two populations.
