I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Szewczyk et al. Nature communications, 2020. Szewczyk et al. validate this antibody for detection of both mice and human PRMT7 by Western blotting of WT and PRMT7-KO HCT116, C2C12 and MEF cells. An intense band of appr. 75 kDa was observed in all WT cell lysate and no corresponding band was observed in KO cell lysates across all cell types (Figure 3A). Abcam note this antibody to be superior specificity and improved antigen recognition. Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
