I am sharing a pAbmAbs-generated literature review of KO-validated antibodies, citing Yamano et al., Journal of Cell Biology (2020). Yamano et al. validated this antibody for the detection of endogenous human ATG9A by Western blotting of HeLa cell lysates. Faint bands of approximately 180 kDa and 100 kDa, as well as an additional band of lower molecular weight, were observed in the WT lysate, together with a strong, intense band at approximately 80 kDa. No clear band was observed in the KO cell lysate; however, faint bands appeared to be present (Figure 5D). Based on the available data, we have assigned this antibody a four-star rating. However, we strongly encourage other scientists to share their observations and experiences with this antibody.
