I am sharing a pAbmAbs-generated literature review of KO-validated antibodies, here citing Osei et al., Molecular and Cellular Biology, 2023. Osei et al. validated this antibody for the detection of endogenous human hRpn13, encoded by ADRM1, by Western blotting using wild-type (WT) and hRpn13-knockout (KO) HCT116 cell lysates. A specific hRpn13 band was detected in WT cells, whereas no corresponding band was observed in hRpn13-KO cells (Figure 1G). Based on the available validation data, we have assigned this antibody a five-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations and experiences with this antibody.
