I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Lee et al. Cell death discovery 2021. Lee et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous mouse HMGB1 by Western blotting of HMGB1-WT and -KO MEF (Mouse embryonic fibroblasts) cell lysates. A band of appr. 25 kDa was detected in WT cell lysate with no corresponding band observed in HMGB1 KO cell lysate (Figure 4A). Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
