I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Shah et al. Journal of Cachexia, Sarcopenia and Muscle 2020. Shah et al. validate this antibody for detection of mouse Caveolin 3 by Western blotting of crude muscle homogenates prepared from gastrocnemius muscle of three wild-type (WT, +/+) and three Cav3 knockout (Cav3KO, −/−) mice. No band was observed in Cav3KO mouse muscle (Figure 4A) Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
