I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Wijshake et al. Cell biology 2021. Wijshake et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous human ATG13 by Western blotting of MCF7 KO cell lysates. Western blot analysis of ATG13 in MCF7 cells was carried out after transduction with a CRISPR/Cas9 lentivirus containing either no (empty) or two sgRNAs targeting ATG13. A band of appr. 65 kDa was observed in WT (empty) with no corresponding bands observed in ATG14 KO MCF7 cells (Supplementary figure 6f). Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
