I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Wijshake et al. Cell biology 2021. Wijshake et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous human UVRAG by Western blotting of MCF7 KO cell lysates. Western blot analysis of UVRAG in MCF7 cells was carried out after transduction with a CRISPR/Cas9 lentivirus containing either no (empty) or two sgRNAs targeting UVRAG. A band of appr. 90 kDa was observed in WT (empty) with faint corresponding bands observed in UVRAG KO MCF7 cells (Supplementary figure 6B). Based on the available data, we have assigned a four-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
