I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Huang et al. Aging 2021. Huang et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous human Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (KEAP1) by Western blotting of ARPE-19 cell lysate with the CRISPR/Cas9-Keap1-KO construct (“ko-Keap1”) or the empty vector (“Cas9-C”). Following WB, 8047 detected a band of appr. 89 kDa in Cas9-C, with no corresponding band observed in ko-Keap1 (Figure 6a). Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
