I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Wang et al. Science 2021. Wang et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous human apoptosis-associated speck-like protein (ASC) by Western blotting of WT and ASC KO THP-1 cell lysate. Following WB, 13833 detected an intense double band in WT cell lysate, with only a faint corresponding band observed in sgRNA cell lysate (Figure 4c). Based on the available data, we have assigned a four-star rating. However, as the presented blot is cropped, this assessment should be interpreted with some caution. We strongly encourage other researchers to share their observations and validation data.
