GIT1, Novus Biologicals, NBP2-22423

I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Wan et al. Aging 2021. Wan et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous mouse GIT1 by Western blotting and immunostaining of BMECs cell lysates and mouse spinal cord. Following WB, NBP2-22423 detected a band of appr. 97 kDa in WT cell lysate with no corresponding band observed in KO cell lysate, furthermore, an intense band was detected in BMECs cell lysates overexpressing GIT1 (Supplementary figure 2A). IF staining showed some background staining in the GIT KO group whereas clear stain was observed in GIT1 WT group (figure 1E). Based on the available data, we have assigned both a five-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
