Clathrin Light Chain, Sigma-Aldrich, C1985

I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Mukenhirn et al. Cells 2021. Mukenhirn et al. validate this antibody for detection of endogenous human Clathrin Light Chain encoded by CLCA and CLCB by Western blotting of WT, CLCA−/− and CLCB−/− U373 cell lysate. Following WB, C1985 did not detected a band corresponding to the putative protein, however a faint band of appr. 30 kDa was detected in all genotypes (Figure 1a). Based on the available data, we have assigned a four-star rating, but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
