I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Yin et al. Nature communications 2021. Yin et al. validated this antibody for the detection of endogenous human Protein Arginine Methyltransferase 6 (PRMT6) by Western blot analysis of whole-cell lysates (WCLs) derived from MCF7 cells in which PRMT6 was knocked out using PRMT6-targeting lentiCRISPR constructs (sg-1 and sg-2). Using the antibody at a dilution of 1:2,000, no PRMT6 band was detected in the KO cell lysates (Supplementary Figure 1e), supporting the specificity of the antibody. Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating but we highly encourage other scientists to share their observations.
