I am sharing a pAbmAbs generated literature review of KO validated antibodies. Here citing Dahlet et al. Nature communications 2021. Dahlet et al. validate this antibody for detection of mouse E2F6 by Western blotting of MEFs derived from WT and E2f6−/− embryos and MEFs CRISPR-Cas9 clones. No band was observed in E2F6 KO MEF cell lysate (Figure 6b). Furthermore, the antibody was validated by Western blot analysis using ES cell lysates, in which no E2F6-specific band was detected in the E2F6 knockout (KO) cell lysate (Supplementary Figure 4). Based on the available data, we have assigned a five-star rating. However, as the presented blot is cropped, this assessment should be interpreted with some caution. We strongly encourage other researchers to share their observations and validation data.
